Bolton Methodist Church is situated in the historic area of Bolton on Bolton Road. The original church was built on Myers Lane and this was replaced by another building on the present site in 1870. That building became unserviceable in the 1980’s and 1990’s and so after much prayerful thought we embarked on a mission of faith to demolish the old building and rebuild on the same site and after a lot of hard work and more prayers the new building was opened in the spring of 1998. During the rebuilding the congregation worshipped together in the hall at St Francis Roman Catholic school.

Our congregation are very welcoming and there is a real family feel among the many people who attend the church. We hold regular social events including concerts and lunches and we have a coffee morning on the first Saturday of each month between 10am and 11.30am and all are welcome.

Our building is used regularly by the local community. For any other information on any aspect of our church life please contact us.
