Our 2022 Preaching series

A Methodist Way of Life includes 12 things that we can do individually and together as we grow as followers of Jesus. We will look at one area each month, beginning in April 2022.

March 2022 – join Revd David Goodall, Missional Communities Enabler for the Yorkshire West District, as he introduces us to a Methodist Way of Life and kicks off our 12-month exploration of MWOL in the Circuit.

April 2022 – join Claire Nott, Lay Pastor at Baildon Methodist Church, as we explore the area of ‘Worship’ with the commitment to pray daily

May 2022 – join Revd David Goodall and Anna Bland, Team Leader at Leeds Sanctuary, as we explore the area of ‘Learning and Caring’ with the commitment to care for ourselves and those around us

June 2022 – join Revd Christine Crabtree as we explore the area of ‘Service’ with the commitment to help people in our communities and beyond

July 2022 – join Rhona North, one of our Local Preachers, as we explore the area of ‘Evangelism’ with the commitment to tell of the love of God

August 2022 – join Revd Phil Drake as we explore the area of ‘Worship’ with the commitment to worship with others regularly

September 2022 – join Revd Kerry Tankard, Chair of the Yorkshire West District, as we explore the area of ‘Learning & Caring’ with the commitment to learn more about our faith

October 2022 – join Revd David Goodall and Anna Bland from Leeds Sanctuary as we explore the area of ‘Service’ with the commitment to care for creation and all God’s gifts

November 2022 – join Revd Phil Drake as we explore the area of ‘Evangelism’ with the commitment to live in a way that draws others to Jesus

December 2022 – join Revd Nick Blundell as we explore the area of ‘Worship’ with the commitment to look and listen for God in scripture and the world

January 2023 – join Mervyn Flecknoe, Lay Pastor at Baildon Methodist Church, as we explore the area of ‘Learning and Caring’ with the commitment to practice hospitality and generosity

February 2023 – join Tim Baker, Head of Public Engagement at All We Can, as we explore the area of ‘Service’ with the commitment to challenge injustice

March 2023 – join Revd Nick Blundell, Revd Christine Crabtree and Deacon Merry Evans as we explore the area of ‘Evangelism’ with the commitment to share our faith with others
